What is the closed files sub section of my files page?
This is a place for your files to move to when they are past their closing date. This will pull the file out of active view. It acts as an achieving system.
Can I still work on my closed files?
Yes, the only limitation you have regarding a closed file is you will not be able to assign new mortgage instructions to it. Otherwise, all of your calendar entries regarding that file will still be present for you to follow up on undertakings, and the file will still populate on any reporting.
Can I move a file from closed back to active?
No, once a file is in the closed section you cannot reactivate it into the active view.
Can I have my files automatically move to closed?
Yes, as an administrator. Hover over more in your top banner and select "Settings" from the drop down. Select the files sub heading. The first setting will be "Automatically move files to closed" (If this setting is off, you can still manually close them in the general page). Once you have enabled this feature, the next setting down you will select the amount of days you wish to wait before they automatically move to closed.
Can I close my files manually without automatically moving them?
Yes, on the general page of each transaction you will find a "close file" button below your final report. Once this button is hit, this will archive your file into the closed folder.
